Services for Young People HAPpy programme is an exciting and free opportunity for young people aged 12-16 to participate in fun and educational activities which help in developing a healthy lifestyle, including:
• free healthy food each day, which young people will have the choice to be involved in planning, preparing and cooking for themselves and their peers
• sports and physical activity helping to improve mood, raise self-esteem, lower stress and anxiety levels, to better cope with the challenges young people face in today’s society
• opportunities to develop personal and social skills to support with the transition to adulthood
• a range of guest visitors talking about issues important to young people
• support to access information, advice and guidance from SfYP staff as well as other key organisations
• our programme is young person led and we welcome feedback and ideas from those taking part
• a chance to have your voice heard in a supportive and inclusive space with friendly youth workers
• a range of fun and enriching activities and experiences, supporting young people to learn and grow, this includes arts & crafts, games, sumo suits and team building challenges
• opportunities to meet and socialise with other young people.
